IIFT ZENNIE FINALLY OUT OF BOTTLE

It was my first B school interview. Anyway things started with a mess, somehow we got late from the beginning itself while leaving from the home. Finally booked a cab and reached at IIFT just at 9:25. Now as soon as I entered I saw the presentation by the seniors was about to finish.

I relaxed and sat there quietly checking my folder and certificates. I was feeling like joginder sharma going to bowl the final over in T20. J I was lost in my thoughts and all of a sudden a harsh sound just crippled thru my ear pads and we were told to go to the respective rooms. I came back to my senses and realized how cruel this world is. I reached in to the room told by the authorities. I saw three profs (devils) standing there.
P1- A lady instructor(looked like as Katrina Kaif in 50s)
P2 – A big fat and bald man with a boll in his belly (Looked like Paresh rawal in SADAK J)
P3 – A Man who was actually sitting with pen and paper and remained silent thru out the G.D. (Silent Assassin)

Well we were sitting on a U shape table and P2 came among us and described the Rule of the game.
(Everyone has to speak for 2-3 min initially then floor will be open for all and a moving bell will be there which will allow the concerned person to moderate. GD duration was 1 hour.)

Then topic was announced.
“IMPACT OF RUPEE APPRECIATION ON THE INDIAN ECONOMY”

I thanked god. Just few days back I heard a similar article of rupee appreciation in NDTV. See kabhi kabhi TV dekhna bhi kaam aa jata hai J

When the GD finished we were told to wait for the PI. Finally my call came and I went inside the room I saw three New faces.
They grilled me with some acads, about the IT industry, My work life etc. Then questions like Why MBA? 5 year down the line where do you see yourself. I told something about entrepreneurship. They asked something about it. How ever I did some mistakes while filling up the form two mistakes were pointed out by them. That was a bad impression on them from my side.
Then some more questions what you do in leisure hour, what qualities you will add to IIFT blah blah blah.

After that I was told to go. I passed a million dollar smile and thanked all.
